These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our websites, products, and services, including those offered under our imprints: Story Seed Press, Velvet After Dark, and Ember & Ink (collectively referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”).   • “Story Seed Press” refers to our primary imprint and website which offers children’s books and educational materials.

  • “Velvet After Dark” refers to our adult fiction imprint.

  • “Ember & Ink” refers to our young adult and general fiction imprint.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services or purchase products from Velvet After Dark. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian when using Story Seed Press or Ember & Ink services.

Due to the print-on-demand and customized nature of many of our products, all sales are considered final unless the product is defective or damaged upon arrival. Please contact us within 14 days of receipt with photos and order information.

We ship throughout Canada and select international locations. Shipping times may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
