Maya Y. Lefèvre is a Canadian author of immersive middle-grade fantasy. Raised in Montreal and shaped by travels through more than 25 countries, she draws on history, mythology, and a lifelong curiosity about the world to create adventures that feel expansive, transportive, and deeply human.
A Doctor of Optometry and researcher, Maya brings the same curiosity and attention to detail to her fictional worlds. Her stories are rooted in courage, family, friendship, discovery, and the belief that extraordinary things can begin in very ordinary places.
