Why Is The Sky So Far Away?......Now I finally know!
I remember, as a child, laying on my back on beauiful fresh grass on a summers day, eyes watching the sky. I often looked at the clouds and all their magical shapes inspiring my imagination. That's just what this book does! Amy Greig has so much talent. With it's beautiful illustrations of a child, his buddy Pickles and those clouds; your childs imagination is activated. This joyful and curious story captured my grandchild's attention immediately. She was pointing to Pickles before i could turn the first page. I loved that it was actually a story not a quick one line per page. The story unfolds easily but begs the reader to keep turning the pages to find the answer....Why Is The Sky So Far Away? My 20 month old granddaughter sat with me and allowed me to read it and my 9 year old grandson read it to me. Lovely book with a wonderful engaging story line, vivid illustration and a perfect length with a heart warming ending! Highly recommend!!

A beautiful book for Christmas Eve and the End of Year holidays!
Note: I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is an amazing book to read in December before Christmas, even reading it on Christmas Eve will give it an enchanting meaning if read along with children. This is a beautiful story, and the illustrations are according to every step of the story.I think the book can be read to toddlers aged 2 to 3, and later on, they can be encouraged to read along with an adult. The final goal is for them to read it on their own when they are 7 years old.Notably, this book can also be easily read by students of any age who are learning English as a second language and are at a Beginner (A1) to Pre-Elementary (A2) level, as the lexicon used is easy to understand.
